Frequently asked questions
Can I make event badges, workshop tags or visitor tags?
Yes. Choose a tag type when you register: Event / Conference Badge, Workshop Tag, Seminar Pass, Visitor Tag, Exhibitor Pass or Wedding & Party Guest Pass. Tags need no photo, so you can bulk-import a spreadsheet and print the same day. Role plates (Delegate, Speaker, VIP, Staff) are colour-coded, passes expire after the event, and Growth and Pro include a QR check-in scanner with an attendance export.
How many cards can an organization issue in a day?
Daily issuing limits depend on your plan and billing period, counted over any rolling 24 hours: Growth allows 100 new cards a day on a 1-month plan, 300 on 6 months and 1,000 on 12 months; Pro allows 200, 800 and 2,000. Total capacity is 2,000 cards on Growth and 25,000 on Pro, and deleting a card frees its space. Bulk CSV import creates cards in batches of 25.
What is Veri-ID?
Veri-ID is a platform where organizations create, issue and manage QR-verifiable, ready-to-print ID cards. Founders register an organization, members apply for their ID, and anyone can verify a card by scanning its QR code or typing its ID number.
What size are the ID cards?
Exactly 85.60 × 53.98 mm (ISO ID-1 / CR80) — the same size as an ATM card or NIMC card. The PDF export is two pages (front, back) at that exact size, or A4 sheets with several cards per page for cutting.
How do I find my organization?
Use Find My Organization: search by name, open your organization's page, then choose Get my ID, Become an Agent or Request Admin access. Your organization admin can also share a direct link: veri-id.app/their-name.
Who approves new IDs, agents and admins?
The organization's Primary Admin (and Admins for IDs and agents). Each organization can approve manually or turn on auto-approve for IDs, agents or admins. If an application needs fixing, admins can send it back — the person gets an email with a link to edit and re-submit — or reject it outright.
How do people verify a card?
Open Verify an ID, scan the QR code printed on the card or enter the ID number. They instantly see the holder's photo, name and whether the card is valid, suspended, revoked or expired.
Can I make an ID card without registering an organization?
Yes. Self-employed people, artisans and freelancers can design a personal ID card for free at veriid.justservices.pro/personal using any of the 20 templates — add your photo, business name, logo and signature. You pay ₦500 once, only when you download or print it (online with Flutterwave, or by chat on WhatsApp), and a copy is emailed to you. Personal IDs are self-issued, so the verification page labels them as such.
Does Veri-ID work outside Nigeria?
Yes. Veri-ID is built in Nigeria but works anywhere. Cards use the international CR80 / ISO ID-1 size (85.6 × 53.98 mm), the verification page is public and works worldwide, and organizations in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Cameroon, Rwanda, Zambia and other countries can register, issue and verify cards. Subscriptions can be paid in naira or US dollars through Flutterwave using local or international cards, bank transfer or USSD.
What is the CR80 / ISO ID-1 card size?
CR80 (also called ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1) is the standard credit-card size: 85.60 × 53.98 mm. It is used by bank cards, driver's licences and many national ID cards, so it fits standard PVC card printers, card holders and lanyards.
