Tags & passes — questions
What is a Veri-ID tag?
A tag is a card-size badge or pass with no photo requirement — event badges, delegate passes, workshop name tags, seminar passes, visitor tags, exhibitor passes and wedding guest passes. Each has a unique QR code that anyone with a phone can verify.
Do tags need photos?
No. Event, workshop, seminar, exhibitor and guest passes are issued instantly with no photo step, so you can import a spreadsheet and print the same day. Visitor tags have an optional photo; ID cards and contractor passes keep the photo.
Can I scan people in at the door?
Yes. Growth and Pro plans include a QR check-in scanner that runs in the browser or the Android app. It shows a green, amber or red result, flags passes that were already used and exports an attendance list.
How many tags can I issue in a day?
Daily issuing limits depend on your plan and billing period, counted over any rolling 24 hours: Growth allows 100 new cards a day on a 1-month plan, 300 on 6 months and 1,000 on 12 months; Pro allows 200, 800 and 2,000. Total capacity is 2,000 cards on Growth and 25,000 on Pro, and deleting a card frees its space. Bulk CSV import creates cards in batches of 25.
Do tags expire?
Yes. Set an event end date, or a number of days (visitor tags: 1 day), and every pass stops verifying automatically afterwards.
